Motorised Smoke Volume Control Damper

Volume Control Dampers

Motorised Dampers

Our damper frames are constructed from durable 6063 T5/T6 Aluminum, and utlise a "C" section frame  with a 152mm Depth and 35mm Flange with slotted corners for easy installation.

Our blades are constructed from durable 6063 T5/T6 Aluminum, their 1.8mm thick edge is designed for minimal airflow resistance.  They come standard with opposed blades and we also offer parallel rotation and blade tip seals up on request

All of our motorised dampers come standard with upper and lower rubber tip seals and Venetian side seals to ensure minimal air leakage

Our bearings are constructed from high quality acetyl plastic and are a two piece design.

Linkages are a combination of cast zinc and Aluminum and our drive shafts are made from 11.11mm zinc plated hex rod for strength and durability.

We have a Vipac Air Leakage Test Report available upon Request

High Temperature Motorised

Smoke Dampers

Constructed as per the specifications for our Motorized dampers with the following changes:

Bearings are made from Zytel Plastic with a melting point at 263 degrees Celsius and out Seals are made from Silicon with a thermal melting point of 250 degrees Celsius.

Test Reports:

• Vipac Test—200 Degrees for 2 Hours.
• Warringtonfire Test—AS1530.7-2007—Part 7 Smoke Control Assemblies - Ambient and medium temperature leakage test.

Non Return & Barometric Dampers

Our Barometric Dampers are manufactured with the same framing system as our Volume Control Dampers, in addition they use 6mm cast or steel spindles with acetyl bushes.

Our blades are spaced at 71mm center to center and use foam seal on the tip of each blade.

The blades on our barometric dampers are operated simultaneously by use of a Link Rod connected to the back of the blades.  This link rod is fitted with and internally mounted tension spring.  The tension spring is controlled by an externally mounted rod and not system.  This provides greater range of adjustment varying from approximately 5 pascals to 500 pascals.
